Manufacturer

Xylem

Xylem: Global Leader in Water Technology for Marine & Beyond

Few names carry as much weight in water management as Xylem. Established in 2011 as a spin-off from ITT Corporation, Xylem is a global water technology leader dedicated to solving the world's toughest water challenges. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., Xylem's offerings span the full water cycle — from clean water delivery and wastewater transport to industrial dewatering, analytical instrumentation, and pumping systems.

Xylem is a leading global water technology provider, enabling customers to transport, treat, test, and efficiently use water in residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and marine settings. That breadth of expertise is reflected in a product catalog that covers everything from large-scale municipal infrastructure to purpose-built marine hardware for recreational boaters.

Trusted Marine Brands: Rule & Jabsco

For over 85 years, boat builders and owners have depended on Xylem's Rule and Jabsco products to solve on-board water and fluid handling challenges. Today, these trusted brands continue that tradition of rugged, reliable marine performance — meeting or exceeding American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) and National Marine Manufacturers standards (NMMA).

At the heart of Xylem's marine lineup are its industry-leading electric bilge pumps. Xylem's Jabsco and Rule brands offer three different types of electric bilge pumping solutions: submersible pumps, flexible impeller pumps, and diaphragm pumps. By far the most popular type, submersible bilge pumps deliver very high outputs, are cost effective, have low amp draw, and are easy to install — designed to fit in the lowest part of the bilge requiring only discharge pipework and an electricity supply.

Onboard sanitation is equally important, which is why Xylem also offers a complete range of macerator & waste pumps. From bilge and ballast pumps to marine toilets and freshwater delivery systems, the combined Jabsco and Rule product catalog offers the widest range of products in different sizes, materials, and configurations — all backed by a global footprint of service centers and distribution partners.

Proper ventilation is a critical and often overlooked aspect of marine safety. Xylem's blowers are engineered to effectively clear engine compartments of hazardous fuel vapors, ensuring safe starts every time. Complementing these fluid-handling and ventilation solutions, Xylem also supplies brass & bronze pipe & hose fittings to complete robust plumbing installations, and a broad selection of three phase motors for commercial and industrial pump applications.

Innovation Across the Full Water Cycle

Innovations in the 150-year history of Xylem's brands include the first all-metal pump, primary-secondary pumping, and the first electronically commutated spherical motor pump. Water movement, water measurement, water treatment, water analysis — they are continually expanding technologies and products to get clean water where it needs to be. Whether you're keeping your hull dry, managing onboard waste, or ventilating a fuel compartment, Xylem brings decades of engineering heritage and global manufacturing scale to every product.
