Anchorlift Anchor Swivels
Anchorlift Stainless Steel Anchor Swivels: Built Where It Counts
When your boat is riding at anchor, a lot is riding on the connection between your anchor and your rode. Anchorlift — a brand with more than two decades of experience engineering premium marine anchoring systems — applies the same exacting standards to their anchor swivels as they do to their full line of windlasses and anchoring hardware. The result is a swivel that does far more than simply connect chain to anchor shank.
What Sets Anchorlift Anchor Swivels Apart
Anchorlift's Stainless Steel Anchor Swivel Connectors are constructed from solid AISI 316L stainless steel — a marine-grade alloy chosen for its exceptional resistance to the corrosive salt environment every boater contends with. But the material is only part of the story.
- Anti-Twist Design: With an Anchorlift swivel attached to the anchor shank, it is impossible for the rode chain to get twisted while the vessel is at anchor — a common problem with traditional shackle connections that can cause the anchor to unset unexpectedly.
- Bronze Washer Technology: A bronze washer positioned between the two moving parts of the swivel minimizes electrolytic corrosion and reduces internal wear, extending the service life of the connector significantly compared to all-steel designs.
- Bow Roller-Friendly Oval Joint: The oval-shaped joint geometry allows the anchor to glide smoothly through the bow roller during retrieval or deployment, with no risk of snagging or damaging the roller components.
- Snag Prevention: The design eliminates the snagging at the anchor-to-chain connection point that can occur with a conventional shackle, making windlass operation smoother and safer.
Sized for Your Vessel
Anchorlift offers their swivel connectors across a range of chain sizes to match boats of different lengths and anchor weights. The model 964408 accommodates 1/4" to 5/16" chain and is suited to boats up to 35 feet, while model 964410 covers 5/16" to 3/8" chain for vessels up to 45 feet. For larger cruising boats from 45 to 65 feet, model 964411 handles 3/8" to 1/2" chain, and model 964412 is engineered for heavy-duty use with a breaking load of 7,000 kg. Every size carries Anchorlift's industry-leading 5-Year Warranty.
Part of a Complete Anchoring System
One of the hallmarks of Anchorlift's engineering philosophy is that their components are designed to work together. Their anchor swivel connectors integrate seamlessly with Anchorlift windlasses, bow rollers, and rode kits, making them a natural first choice for boaters who want a cohesive, matched system rather than a mix of incompatible hardware. Whether you're outfitting a weekend runabout or a bluewater cruiser, Anchorlift's swivels are engineered to be the reliable link in your anchoring chain — literally.
