The Southwire Surge Guard 35530 is a permanently hardwired RV surge protector rated at 120V/30A that continuously monitors shore power and automatically disconnects to protect your coach's electronics from damaging electrical conditions. Designed for permanent installation inside your RV's electrical bay, it safeguards against the full range of campground power hazards — including power surges, open ground, open neutral, low or high voltage, miswired pedestals, and reverse polarity.

With 2,450 Joules of surge protection capacity and a maximum spike current rating of 6,500A, the 35530 provides serious protection for sensitive RV electronics. A built-in 128-second reset delay prevents your air conditioning compressor from short-cycling when power is restored, extending compressor life. Once safe voltage conditions are re-established, the unit automatically reconnects power without any manual intervention.
