Product Details

The Southwire 40141-001 is a 50-amp automatic transfer switch designed for RVs equipped with both shore power and an onboard generator. This permanently mounted unit automatically switches your RV's AC power source between shore power and generator power, eliminating the need to manually swap power connections.

This switch is generator dominant: when both shore and generator power are simultaneously available, the unit will transfer to generator power after a 30-second delay. Once the generator shuts down, the switch returns to shore power after a short 3–4 second delay.
