Southwire 40430RVC1 Surge Guard Automatic Transfer Switch with Shore Power Sensing 30A

The Southwire Surge Guard 40430RVC1 is a 30-amp automatic transfer switch designed for RV use, intelligently managing the transition between shore power and your onboard generator. When shore power is available, the unit automatically connects to it; if shore power fails or is disconnected, the switch seamlessly transfers the load to your RV's generator — all without manual intervention.

A key feature of this transfer switch is its shore power sensing capability, which continuously monitors incoming utility power for faults. If the park power is faulty, unstable, or lost entirely, the unit responds automatically to keep your RV powered and your appliances protected.

Key Features:

• Automatic transfer switching — transitions between shore power and generator power without manual operation
• Shore power sensing — monitors park power quality and responds to faults or outages
• 30-amp / 120-volt rating compatible with standard 30A RV electrical systems
• Protects against faulty park power — helps safeguard RV appliances and electronics from unstable utility connections
• Designed for permanent RV installation

The Southwire Surge Guard 40430RVC1 is an ideal solution for RV owners who want reliable, hands-free power source management at campgrounds, RV parks, or off-grid generator setups.
