Product Details

The Southwire Surge Guard 50AM30AF18 is an 18-inch RV power cord adapter (also called a "dogbone" adapter) designed to connect an RV with a 30-amp power inlet to a 50-amp campground power pedestal. Featuring a NEMA 14-50P male plug and a NEMA TT-30R female receptacle, this adapter provides a safe and convenient solution when only 50-amp service is available at your campsite.

Key Features:

  • 50 Amp Male (14-50P) to 30 Amp Female (TT-30R) configuration
  • 18-inch flexible cord reduces stress on campground pedestals, RV power cords, and surge protectors compared to rigid plug adapters
  • 10 AWG, 3-wire construction with 100% copper conductors for reliable electrical performance
  • Durable PVC jacket protects against wear and weather in demanding outdoor environments
  • Easy-T-Pull handle makes connecting and disconnecting power safer and easier while reducing plug and connector wear
  • Non-locking, straight blade plug ends — no lighted ends
  • Made in USA
  • Limited 1-year warranty

Compact and easy to store, the Surge Guard 50AM30AF18 is an essential accessory for RV owners who frequently encounter varying campground electrical configurations. The flexible cord design helps protect both the pedestal and your RV's electrical connections during use.

All is good! If you ship with USPS (and not UPS) I'm happy.

Work great match with good and with good instructions

Okay

Ordered a boat seat cooler. The picture in the description appeared larger than the actual size. I could tell as soon as I received it that it wasn't going to be the size I needed. I contacted them to ask if I could return it and they responded quickly with approval for a return even though I noticed on my receipt that it wasn't an item that you could return. Overjoyed they worked with me on this!

Shipment notification was sent from a third party and nowhere said it was affiliated with you so I wasn't exactly sure what was coming. Not a big deal, just slightly confusing.

Good pricing and shipping

Got what I ordered, installed the part. Now my 450sl is back on the road.

Very good
