The NewMar GI-30-FS is a 30-amp fail-safe galvanic isolator designed to protect boats and yachts from galvanic corrosion while maintaining critical AC safety ground integrity. Installing this isolator between the AC safety ground and DC bonding system blocks low-voltage DC currents that cause corrosive action on metallic components submerged in saltwater, significantly extending the life of sacrificial anodes and underwater metals.
