CMP CMR03AL Martyr Aluminum Rudder / Trim Tab Disc Anode with Allen Screw

The CMP Martyr CMR03AL is an aluminum sacrificial disc anode designed for use on rudders and trim tabs. Engineered to provide reliable cathodic protection, this anode mounts securely using a stainless steel Allen head screw and is precision pressure die-cast for consistent performance and even consumption throughout its service life.

Alloy & Water Type: The CMR03AL is cast from a premium aluminum alloy, making it ideally suited for use in salt water and brackish water environments. Aluminum anodes deliver better galvanic performance and longer-lasting protection compared to traditional zinc anodes, and unlike magnesium, they are safe for saltwater and brackish applications.

Key Features:

• Aluminum alloy construction for superior saltwater and brackish water corrosion protection
• Disc-style design fits rudder and trim tab mounting applications
• Stainless steel Allen head screw included for secure installation
• Pressure die-cast for consistent alloy composition and even sacrificial consumption
• Manufactured to meet US Military Alloy Specifications for aluminum anodes
• Part of the Martyr Anodes lineup by CMP (Canadian Metal Pacific)

Sacrificial anodes like the CMR03AL protect underwater metal components by corroding preferentially, sparing critical hardware such as rudders, trim tabs, and drive components from galvanic damage. Regular inspection and timely replacement of worn anodes is essential to maintaining full corrosion protection on any marine vessel.
