Fortress Anchors FX-23 MUDPALMSET Mud Palm Set Replacement Pair with Hardware

The Fortress Anchors FX-23 MUDPALMSET is a pair of original replacement mud palms designed specifically for the FX-23 anchor. These genuine Fortress replacement parts restore your anchor's full performance capability and include all necessary mounting hardware for a straightforward installation.

How Mud Palms Work:

Mud palms are aluminum plates that bolt directly onto the crown of the anchor. They create a "lift" at the crown, causing the flukes to point more directly toward the seabed. This action helps the anchor set faster and more reliably across all bottom types, and is especially effective in soft, soupy mud where anchoring performance is most challenging.

Key Features:

• Original Fortress replacement mud palms for the FX-23 anchor
• Set includes two metal plates, 8 bolts, and 8 nuts — all mounting hardware included
• Improves anchor set speed and holding power in soft mud and sandy seabeds
• Bolts directly to the crown of the FX-23 anchor
• Compatible with red logo FX-23 anchors (2006 and newer) only — not compatible with older black logo anchors
• Sold as a pair — one set is required per anchor

For boaters who regularly anchor in soft-bottom conditions, keeping a properly fitted mud palm set on the FX-23 is recommended for consistent, reliable holding power. Fortress advises leaving the mud palms installed at all times for best all-around performance.
