Southwire 44400 Neutral-Ground Bonding Plug for Floating Neutral Generators

The Southwire 44400 Neutral-Ground Bonding Plug is designed for use with portable generators that feature a floating neutral configuration. By inserting this plug into the generator's receptacle, it creates a bond between the neutral and ground conductors — a critical step for safe and code-compliant operation when using certain transfer switches, RV hookups, or other equipment that requires a bonded neutral at the source.

Key Features:

• Floating Neutral Compatible: Specifically engineered for portable generators with a floating neutral design
• Neutral-to-Ground Bond: Internally bonds the neutral and ground conductors to establish a proper reference point
• 3-Pin Configuration: Fits standard 3-pin generator outlet receptacles
• Durable Construction: Black housing built to withstand regular outdoor generator use
• Simple Plug-In Installation: No tools or wiring required — just plug into the generator outlet

Important: Before use, consult your generator's owner's manual to confirm the unit was designed with a floating neutral. This plug should only be used with floating neutral generators — using it with a bonded neutral generator is unnecessary and may cause issues with ground fault protection.
