Engineered Marine Products 27-14549 Dry Joint Blocked Flow Exhaust Elbow Gasket

The Engineered Marine Products 27-14549 is a dry joint exhaust elbow gasket engineered for MerCruiser stern drive and inboard engines equipped with dry joint exhaust manifolds. This is a blocked flow (block-off) style gasket, designed for use on closed cooling systems where all water flow ports are fully sealed off at the exhaust elbow-to-riser interface.

Installed between the exhaust riser and exhaust elbow, this gasket features two blocked holes to prevent coolant passage — making it the correct choice for closed cooling configurations on GM V-6 and V-8 engines (2002 and newer).

Key Features:

• Block-off style design with two blocked flow holes — for closed cooling applications only
• Designed for dry joint exhaust manifold systems (no water-cooled manifold passages)
• Direct OEM replacement — matches original form, fit, and function
• Compatible with GM 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L, and 6.2L engines with dry joint manifolds (2002+)
• Used on engines with separate exhaust risers and elbows
