Flexible Installation:
The V60-B's removable fist mic can be connected to either the front or rear of the radio, and optional extension cables allow the mic and radio to be mounted separately. This provides a simple, cost-effective solution for any mounting location with minimal cable clutter. For example, mount the radio overhead with the microphone connected to an extension socket on the dashboard below.
Enhanced Safety Features:
Multiple GPS connectivity options ensure reliable positioning for DSC distress calls. The integrated GPS antenna works for open-air installations, while the included GPS-500 antenna provides enhanced performance. NMEA connections allow GPS data sharing from chartplotters or existing antennas. The MOB function drops a waypoint at your current location and displays distance and bearing to return to the MOB position, while transmitting the waypoint over NMEA 2000 to your entire network.
