Southwire 55667923 16 AWG GPT Primary Wire White 100 Feet Bulk Spool

The Southwire 55667923 is a 16 AWG GPT (General Purpose Thermoplastic) automotive primary wire, supplied on a 100-foot bulk spool in white. Designed for use in surface vehicle electrical systems at nominal system voltages of 60V DC or less, this wire is an industry-standard choice for a wide range of low-voltage automotive, marine, and RV wiring applications.

Constructed with fully annealed stranded bare copper conductors (19 strands), this wire delivers reliable conductivity and flexibility. The premium-grade PVC insulation is color-coded white for easy circuit identification and is engineered to resist abrasion, chemicals, moisture, and oil — standing up to the demanding under-hood and cabin environments found in cars, trucks, boats, tractors, and trailers. The wire is rated for temperatures up to 85°C (185°F) and meets SAE standards for automotive wiring.
