Fluid Requirement: Use only SeaStar Steering Fluid or Mil Spec H5606 fluid. Do not use brake fluid, Teflon tape, or Loctite on fittings. The fluid cap must remain in the uppermost position at all times. Install hose fittings prior to mounting the helm pump for easier installation.
