Aluminum anodes are the most versatile choice for boaters who operate in varying water conditions. Unlike zinc anodes which are limited to saltwater use, aluminum anodes perform effectively in both saltwater and brackish water environments, making them an ideal all-around choice for vessels that move between different water types. These anodes provide low-cost cathodic protection for your MerCruiser Bravo III drive system, sacrificing themselves to protect valuable engine components from galvanic corrosion.
