The Sierra 18-2601-1 is a complete transom seal kit designed for MerCruiser R, MR, Alpha One (1983-1990), and Alpha One SS (1986-1989) sterndrive applications. This comprehensive service kit includes everything needed to remove and reinstall a sterndrive from the transom, helping to prevent water intrusion and maintain proper sterndrive alignment.

Kit Includes:

  • Greasable gimbal bearing for improved serviceability
  • Outdrive gasket kit for proper sealing
  • Shift arm U-joint assembly
  • Exhaust bellows and shift cable bellows
  • Stainless steel hose clamps for secure installation

Applications:

  • MerCruiser R, MR drives
  • Alpha One (1983-1990) serial number 6225577 and up
  • Alpha One SS (1986-1989) serial number OA 545004 and up

This Sierra transom seal kit is manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications and replaces MerCruiser part number 30-803097T1. Note: This kit does not include a gimbal seal or lower unit oil line, which may need to be ordered separately depending on your service requirements. Not compatible with Alpha One Gen 2 drives.
