Product Details

The Sierra 18-3317 is a complete water pump housing kit designed for MerCruiser #1 and #1/R stern drive units without plastic flush screw in the gear housing. This comprehensive kit covers serial numbers 2763442 through 6854392 and includes both upper and lower housings along with all necessary components for a complete water pump rebuild.

Complete Kit Includes:

  • Water pump base and housing assembly
  • Impeller housing and impeller
  • Impeller wear plate
  • Water tube guide and grommet
  • Complete seal kit with multiple O-rings
  • All required gaskets for proper installation

This kit replaces Mercury Marine OEM part numbers 46-60367A1, 46-96148A5, and 46-96148A8, as well as aftermarket part numbers GLM 12110 and Mallory 9-48305. Sierra marine parts are engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications and are designed to withstand harsh marine environments. The comprehensive nature of this kit eliminates the need to source individual components, making water pump service straightforward and efficient.

Note: Models that have been retrofitted with Alpha-style drives (without preload pin on top of driveshaft) require kit #18-3320 instead.

All good so far
