Product Details

The Sierra 118-4218 is a brass drain tap designed for marine engine cylinder blocks and exhaust manifolds. This high-quality replacement part features a 1/4" NPT thread size and is engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications for reliable performance.

Key Features:

  • Brass construction for superior durability and corrosion resistance
  • 1/4" NPT (6.4mm) thread size for universal compatibility
  • Designed for low-pressure drainage applications
  • Provides leak-proof metal-to-metal seal with hand tightening
  • Fits MerCruiser cylinder blocks and exhaust manifolds
  • Compatible with most OEM manifolds

OEM Cross-Reference Numbers:

  • MerCruiser: 22-16951A1, 22-16951Q1, 22-16951T1, 22-87238, 22-64426
  • OMC/Johnson/Evinrude: 379957, 509501
  • Volvo Penta: 82745
  • GLM: 13993
  • Mallory: 9-41201
  • Aqua-Power: 5154

This drain tap is essential for winterizing marine engines, allowing easy removal of excess water from cylinder blocks and exhaust manifolds to prevent corrosion and freeze damage during storage. The brass construction offers more durability than plastic or iron plugs and reduces the possibility of cross-threading.

Very happy with the product.

Ok

Easy ordering process. Tool arrived on time. I am very pleased with the results.

Will buy from here again.

Only website that had the specific tire I required. Thank you. Cheers.

I was extremely pleased with the purchase price and very fast shipping of my order. It arrived sooner than expected.

I wish the products had a more detailed description such as listing of it was for the right or left side or the back or front of the vehicle. Having to google part numbers to determine which area of the car was for was quite inconvenient. Other than that it was a great experience with great prices!

Good site I like
