Product Details

The Sierra 118-5433 is a standard 12 volt marine ignition coil designed to be used with an external resistor. This Sierra aftermarket ignition coil is manufactured to meet or exceed OEM requirements, providing reliable ignition performance for marine engine applications with conventional breaker point ignition systems.

Key Specifications:

  • Primary resistance of 1.550/0.450 Ohms
  • Secondary resistance of 9,370/7,650 Ohms
  • Inductance: 6.45/5.31 MHY
  • 12 volt operation with external resistor required

Applications:

  • Fits MCM 4 Cyl., V-6 & V-8 engines with conventional ignition and some outboard applications
  • Compatible with Chrysler, Crusader, MerCruiser, Mercury, OMC, and Volvo Penta applications
  • MerCruiser 3.0L (1991 & up), 5.7 EFI (1996 & up), and 7.4L EFI (1995 & up)

This ignition coil is designed for engines equipped with points and condenser distributors. Use with Sierra 18-5469 hi-performance ignition coil for complete ignition system upgrades.
