The Sierra 18-5758 Power Pack is a premium aftermarket replacement CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) module designed for Johnson/Evinrude outboard motors. This essential ignition system component stores and releases high-voltage electrical energy to the ignition coils, ensuring proper spark timing and reliable engine performance.

Key Features:

  • Also replaces CDI Electronics part number 113-2453
  • Engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications for reliable performance
  • Sealed, moisture-resistant construction for durability in harsh marine environments
  • Critical component for maintaining proper ignition timing and spark delivery
  • Compatible with Johnson/Evinrude outboard engines requiring these OEM part numbers

Power packs are vital components in outboard CDI ignition systems, responsible for accumulating electrical charge from the stator and supplying precisely timed high-voltage pulses to ignition coils. When a power pack fails, symptoms typically include hard starting, rough running, misfiring, or complete loss of spark. Sierra Marine manufactures this power pack to deliver OEM-quality performance at an aftermarket value, backed by their comprehensive warranty covering parts and labor.
