The Sierra 18-7223 Carburetor Rebuild Kit is a comprehensive repair kit designed for Johnson/Evinrude outboard engines ranging from 4 HP to 15 HP. This kit provides the essential components needed to restore carburetor performance and function on compatible outboard motors.

Kit Contents:

  • High and low speed needle packing (Sierra 18-7106)
  • Needle and seat assembly for 3R models (Sierra 18-7093)
  • Needle and seat assembly for 4RE and 4RL models (Sierra 18-7094)
  • Float bowl gasket (Sierra 18-2908)
  • Float arm hinge pin
  • Spring clip and packing washer
  • Valve O-ring and shut-off valve roll pin
  • Additional gaskets and seals

OEM Cross-References: Replaces Johnson/Evinrude part numbers 386698, 391305, 391937, 398452, 398453, and 439072. Also interchangeable with Mallory 9-37101, GLM 40550, and EMP 1300-01427.

Important Note: Carburetor jets are not included in this kit. Sierra marine parts are engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications, utilizing superior ethanol-resistant materials and quality control standards.

I needed an expensive part for my outboard motor's steering system, several of the internet sellers should out of stock/back ordered. Boatplicity showed the item in stock. I went on chat and was told the item was available. I paid the extra $9.99 for 2 day delivery. I ordered the $2000.00 item Wed. May 15 2024 at 1:00 pm. Fed Ex rang my door bell the next day at 11:30 am. I received that item less than 24 hours from the time I placed my order. That is as good as it gets !
