Product Details

The Sierra 18-7906-2 is a high-efficiency marine oil filter designed specifically for four-stroke outboard engines, replacing select Yamaha and Mercury OEM filters. Engineered for the extreme marine environment, this spin-on filter delivers superior filtration performance for Yamaha F150-F250 horsepower V-6 four-stroke outboards and Mercury 225HP EFI four-stroke engines.

Marine-Grade Construction:

  • Heavy-wall steel canister with epoxy coating provides superior corrosion resistance in saltwater and freshwater applications
  • High-efficiency filter media meets or exceeds OEM filtration standards for maximum engine protection
  • Anti-drain-back valve ensures reliable oil pressure at startup and prevents dry starts
  • 3/4" x 16 NPT thread specification for secure installation
  • Compact 3.18" height design for easy access in tight engine compartments

OEM Cross-References: Replaces Yamaha 69J-13440-00-00, 69J-13440-01-00, 69J-13440-02-00, 69J-13440-03-00, 69J-13440-04-00, 69J-13440-05-00; Mercury 35-822626Q15, 35-822626T7, 35-8226267; Mallory 9-57808; and Fram PH4967.
