The Sierra 18-8205 is a complete transom seal kit designed for MerCruiser 1, R, MR, and Alpha 1 sterndrives with exhaust tube, providing everything needed to remove and reinstall the sterndrive from the transom. This comprehensive service kit replaces Mercury Marine part number 30-803098T1.

Complete Kit Includes:

  • Heavy-duty greasable gimbal bearing (18-2100)
  • U-joint bellows (18-2751)
  • Exhaust tube (18-2760)
  • Water intake hoses - 5/8" and 3/4" ID (18-3601 and 18-3602)
  • Shift cable bellows (18-2753-1)
  • Outdrive mounting gasket and bell housing gaskets
  • O-rings (18-7153, 18-7117, 18-7170)
  • All necessary hose clamps and bellows clamps

This high-quality Sierra transom seal kit is designed to meet OEM specifications and provides a complete solution for stern drive service and maintenance. Note that the exhaust bellows in this kit is tube type, held on with only one hose clamp on the transom side, which may produce a louder exhaust sound than bellows with clamps on both ends.
