Product Details

The Sierra 18-9096 is a replacement stern drive trailering clip set designed to support and protect Volvo Penta stern drive units during trailering and storage. These clips secure the drive in a raised position, relieving stress on the trim hydraulic system and preventing damage from road vibration and jolts while towing.

Constructed from heavy-duty plastic, the Sierra 18-9096 clips are engineered to meet or exceed the original equipment specifications they replace. This set directly replaces Volvo Penta OEM part number 3847547 and is designed exclusively for 2007 and newer SX-A and DPS-A drive units. For 2006 and earlier Volvo SX drives, order Sierra 18-9098 instead.

Key Features:

  • Replaces Volvo Penta OEM part number 3847547
  • Heavy-duty plastic construction built for the marine environment
  • Sold as a pair (1 pr/pk)
  • Designed for Volvo Penta SX-A and DPS-A stern drives, 2007 and newer only
  • Meets or exceeds original equipment standards
  • Approximately 7-1/4 inches in length

Sierra International is a leading supplier of marine engine and drive parts, with over 50 years of experience providing quality aftermarket components. The 18-9096 trailering clips are an inexpensive and essential accessory for boat owners who trailer their Volvo Penta-equipped vessels.

I received my part. Fit perfect , installed and ready to go. Happy Boater. !!? Thank you.

Fast

Easy to order, showed up fast, the few questions I had were answered quickly.

I found what I wanted, it was a really good price, I ordered it, it showed up shortly thereafter, and there's nothing wrong with it. This sounds like a boring, uneventful transaction and that's exactly what it was. Which is absolutely perfect and the way it should be. No drama, good products at good prices with good service. Thanks so much!

I searched for 2 full days and your pricing was by far the best! Very easy to checkout and purchase with a great website!

I placed the order online with no problem, and I received my order a couple of days later. Item was as described and the price was competitive with other vendors.

I have had good luck with my purchases so far and will continue to use them
