This innovative safety device uses multi-color LED technology with red-orange and cyan flashing lights to emit the international Morse Code S-O-S distress pattern, providing enhanced visibility on water. An integrated infrared (IR) component flashes simultaneously for improved detection by Search and Rescue teams using Night Vision Goggles.

Approved Replacement for Pyrotechnic Flares:
When carried together, the ResQFlare PRO and included distress flag satisfy USCG requirements for visual distress signals on recreational vessels up to 65 feet operating on the Great Lakes, within 12 miles of U.S. waters, or bodies of water with passageways to the sea at least two miles wide. This eliminates the need for traditional pyrotechnic flares with their expiration dates, disposal requirements, and safety concerns.

The included distress flag provides multiple daylight signaling options and can be flown from a mast, waved by hand, or laid flat to attract aircraft attention.
