Pettit Paint 14800/1480122 Protect Fast Dry High Build Epoxy Primer Gray Quart

Pettit Protect Fast Dry is a heavy-duty, two-component epoxy coating designed for applications requiring maximum resistance to fresh or saltwater. This formulation minimizes water absorption, making it an ideal choice for preventing and repairing osmotic blisters in fiberglass hulls.

Key Features:

• High-solids composition facilitates quicker and easier application with fewer coats necessary for effective protection
• Provides reliable corrosion resistance for all submerged metals including steel and aluminum
• High-solids formula allows for quicker application with fewer coats compared to competitive products
• Two-component system mixes 3:1 by volume (Part A to Part B)
• Excellent durability in exterior exposures, although like most epoxies, it will chalk if not top coated
• Gray color is ideal for use under dark-colored bottom paints or for alternating coat color verification

This fast-drying epoxy primer is suitable for use on fiberglass, steel, aluminum, and other underwater metals. The white color option will not bleed through even the lightest colored bottom paints, but this gray version is preferred for general marine applications. The kit includes both Part A and Part B components in a quart size for convenient mixing and application.
