The Talos SFD-1414P-MTB Lightning Detection System combines a real-time storm warning device with a durable 14" x 14" safety information sign to alert guests when dangerous lightning is detected in the surrounding area. This battery-operated kit provides instant visual and audible alerts when lightning strikes are detected up to 25 miles away, making it essential safety equipment for marinas, construction sites, golf courses, pools, outdoor dining areas, parks, and event venues.

How the Detection System Works:

The Talos detector uses weather station-grade technology to monitor lightning activity within a 25-mile radius. When lightning is first detected, all 8 LEDs flash for 5 minutes. After the initial alert, the system switches to an energy-saving mode that blinks alternating LEDs while continuing to monitor storm distance. Three color-coded LED indicators show approaching or departing storm distance: Green at 25 miles (1 beep), Blue at 16 miles (2 beeps), and Red at 6 miles (3 beeps).

Installation Guidelines:
