Martyr Anodes CMZ03BA Zinc Streamlined Shaft Sacrificial Anode

The Martyr Anodes CMZ03BA is a zinc streamlined shaft sacrificial anode engineered to protect inboard propeller shafts from galvanic corrosion in saltwater environments. Part of Martyr's metric CMZ series, this two-piece collar anode is manufactured by Canada Metal (Pacific) Ltd. to meet or exceed U.S. Military specifications for alloy quality and performance.

Martyr's streamlined shaft anodes feature a purpose-built design that maximizes protection life and simplifies installation. The interlocking halves ensure a precise, snug fit around the shaft, while the circular inside diameter provides full 360-degree contact for optimal galvanic protection. Extra alloy material surrounding the fastener areas extends service life compared to standard collar designs.

Key Features:

• Zinc alloy formulation — ideal for saltwater use
• Mil-spec alloy construction meets or exceeds U.S. Military specifications
• Two-piece interlocking design for secure, gap-free fit
• Full circular inside diameter for 100% shaft contact
• Included stainless steel hardware with bolt retaining washers for easy handling
• Extra alloy around fasteners for extended service life
• Erodes inward (sandblasted appearance) for predictable wear and easy inspection
• Suitable for underwater installation

Martyr recommends replacing shaft anodes when they have eroded approximately 50–70%. Each alloy batch is lab-tested for quality assurance, with full certification and traceability available upon request. The CMZ03BA is part of Martyr's comprehensive lineup of over 1,000 anode types designed to fit all major marine engines and boat models.
