Digital Selective Calling with Dedicated Channel 70 Receiver
Equipped with a separate Channel 70 receiver, the GX1410W can receive DSC calls even while you're listening to voice communications. The DSC distress function transmits a digital MAYDAY with vessel identification, position coordinates, and time stamp when connected to a GPS receiver. Additional DSC call types include Individual, Urgency, Safety, Position Report, and Send functions.
Display and Interface
The oversized full dot matrix display (31mm x 55mm) features high resolution with adjustable ultra-bright backlighting for excellent visibility in all conditions. GPS position and time data are clearly shown on the display when connected to a compatible GPS receiver. Radio controls are conveniently located on the microphone for easy operation.
