About Transducer Shield and Saver

Since 1991, Transducer Shield and Saver has specialized in protecting critical marine electronics from the harsh realities of on-water environments. Based in Halethorpe, Maryland, this privately-held manufacturer has built its reputation on understanding a fundamental challenge facing boaters: expensive transducers and marine equipment face constant threats from impacts, debris, and underwater hazards that can end a fishing trip or cruise in an instant.

The company's primary focus centers on transducer protection systems designed to shield sensitive sonar and fish-finding equipment from damage. Transducers, which transmit and receive underwater sound waves for depth finding and fish location, typically mount in vulnerable positions on boat hulls where they're exposed to rocks, logs, dock pilings, and other obstacles. Transducer Shield and Saver's protective solutions act as a first line of defense, absorbing impacts that would otherwise damage or destroy these essential electronics.

Engineering for Real-World Marine Conditions

What sets Transducer Shield and Saver apart is their understanding of the marine environment's unique demands. Their products must withstand constant water exposure, including saltwater corrosion, while maintaining durability against physical impacts. The design philosophy balances protection with functionality—guards must shield equipment without interfering with sonar signal transmission or creating excessive drag that affects boat performance.

The company's product line addresses the practical concerns of recreational anglers, commercial fishermen, and recreational boaters who depend on reliable electronics. A damaged transducer doesn't just mean lost equipment cost; it means missed fishing opportunities, navigation challenges, and potential safety concerns. By focusing on prevention rather than replacement, Transducer Shield and Saver helps boaters avoid these disruptions.

Specialized Marine Protection Solutions

With over three decades of experience in the marine accessories market, Transducer Shield and Saver has refined their products based on real-world feedback from the boating community. Their solutions cater to various boat types and transducer configurations, recognizing that a bass boat's needs differ significantly from those of a deep-sea fishing vessel. This specialization has earned the brand recognition among boaters who prioritize equipment longevity and reliability in challenging conditions.

Fitment guaranteed
The TS-AIHD-TS is built in high-quality aluminum alloy and black powder coated to provide durable protection for your marine electronics investment. This transducer shield is designed to fit Lowrance ActiveImaging HD 3-in-1 Transducer #000-16062-001 or Active Imaging HD 3-in-1 Fish Reveal Transducer #000-16060-001, offering anglers a robust mounting solution for challenging environments.
Installation Options:
Important Installation Note: When the transducer is attached to a set back or the side of a jack plate, it will not track the bottom when up on plane because the transducer is out of the water. For bottom reading on plane, a transducer inside the hull will be required. Additional mounting components (L Brackets or Wedges) sold separately.
Made in Alabama with precision craftsmanship, this shield provides reliable protection for bass anglers fishing shallow water and rocky areas where transducer damage is common.

All good very simple
MARK S
Everything went well. I'm not sure why a blower fan would be made with any metal that could corrode and yet that's what happened to the old one that is NOT that old.
Jim F
Every thing went fast with no problems while ordering
