PTM Edge Mirrors & Mounts: Engineered for the Water

When it comes to keeping a clear, unobstructed view of riders behind your boat, few brands have pushed the envelope the way PTM Edge has. A division of Protomet, PTM Edge designs, engineers, and manufactures its mirror systems in the USA — combining optical precision with hardware built specifically to endure the punishment of the marine environment. Their mirrors and mounts aren't an afterthought; they are the core of what the brand is known for.

Prescription-Grade Optics That Set the Standard

The defining feature of PTM Edge mirror systems is their use of prescription-grade optics. Their flagship panoramic mirrors utilize prescription-grade optics to provide up to a 140-degree field of view, allowing captains to track skiers and wakeboarders from wake-to-wake without ever turning their heads. This optical standard — borrowed from the eyewear industry — delivers a level of edge-to-edge clarity and distortion-free imaging that standard boat mirrors simply cannot match.

PTM Edge offers multiple mirror series to suit different boats and use cases. The 6" x 20" VR-140 PRO offers unparalleled viewable range and clarity via prescription-grade optics, allowing the boat driver to follow a skier or wakeboarder from port to starboard inside one uninterrupted, high-definition, high-resolution mirror. For boaters who want a more compact solution, the VR-100 series delivers a 100-degree panoramic view in a 14" x 6" form factor.

Mounts Engineered for Rigidity and Flexibility

A great mirror is only as good as the bracket holding it — and PTM Edge takes mounting hardware just as seriously as optics. The CFR-200 universal bracket takes advantage of the strength of carbon fiber to deliver a strong, rigid, yet lightweight bracket that mounts to the windshield frame, with patent-pending Clamp4rce technology and single-knob adjustment.

The ZXR-300 Windshield Mounted Pivoting Mirror Bracket provides a secure windshield mount for the VR-140 Series panoramic mirrors, with a patent-pending design that accommodates most new windshield trims and a multi-position, full-metal locking mechanism providing a new standard for rigidity in rough waters.

A spherical tension socket enables infinite positioning options, while Clamp4rce technology and single-knob adjustment allow for tool-free repositioning without drilling. This no-drill, no-permanent-modification approach is a major advantage for boaters who want a premium setup without compromising their windshield or hull.

Built for Every Type of Boat

PTM Edge designs, engineers, and manufactures premium boat mirrors for ski/wake boats, pontoon boats, center console boats, and jet boats. Whether you're towing a wakeboarder on a dedicated wake boat or simply want a wide-angle rearward view on a pontoon, PTM Edge offers mirror and mount configurations — including windshield-mount, rail-mount, and console-mount options — to fit virtually any vessel layout.

All mirror housings are UV-resistant and built to last in harsh marine conditions, and the systems are proudly made in the USA. For boaters who demand the same optical quality behind the helm that they expect from their other premium marine equipment, PTM Edge mirrors and mounts represent the definitive upgrade.
