Standard motor kits feature a black powder-coated aluminum cover, a 304 stainless steel mounting plate, shaft and mounting hardware, and an adjustable sweep angle of 80° or 110° — capable of powering up to a 14" arm and blade combination.

For larger vessels or more demanding conditions, the Heavy Duty Waterproof Wiper Motors step up significantly. These motors deliver 15 N·m of torque, operate at two speeds (35 or 55 sweeps per minute), offer an adjustable sweep angle from 40° to 110°, and can handle arm-and-blade combinations up to 24" x 24". The IP66 waterproof rating, rigid all-aluminum housing, and insulated grounding make them compatible with steel, aluminum, wood, or GRP boat construction. Heavy duty motors are CE Approved and are designed to directly replace older Ongaro and Bosch-type motors for a straightforward upgrade.

Deluxe Blades and Multi-Motor Control

Schmitt Marine's Deluxe Wiper Blades feature powder-coated, natural rubber construction with replaceable blade inserts, and ship with three adapters to fit Ongaro Deluxe Arms and most competitive arms — making them a versatile replacement option. Eight blade lengths are available from 11" to 24" to accommodate a wide range of windshield sizes.

For helm stations running multiple motors, the Ongaro Wiper Control System supports one to three motors on either 12V or 24V configurations. The system offers synchronized sweep in interval, slow, and fast speeds, and includes a rocker switch — giving captains precise control regardless of conditions.
