Product Details

The Sierra 18-99229 is a high-performance replacement ignition switchbox (also known as a power pack) designed for 6-cylinder Mercury and Mariner outboard engines. This critical ignition system component controls the spark timing and delivery to ensure optimal engine performance and reliability.

Key Features:

  • Direct replacement for Mercury part numbers 18495A22 and 18495A32
  • Interchangeable with CDI part number 114-4953-32
  • Engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications
  • Features integrated bias circuitry for 6-cylinder applications
  • Professional-grade construction for harsh marine environments
  • Designed for installation by professional marine mechanics

Important Installation Note: On 6-cylinder applications, it is recommended that both switchboxes be replaced as a set to ensure proper operation and prevent damage to the mating switchbox. The bias circuit resistance should read between 13-15K Ω for proper operation.

Sierra marine ignition components are manufactured by Dometic and are backed by comprehensive technical support. Each unit is built to deliver reliable performance in demanding saltwater and freshwater marine applications.

Easy check out and great prices

Good

Easy transaction!

So the low stars because, I received the products in two different boxes, which there didn't seem to be any reason as they would have fit in one. The order didn't indicate that there were two different boxes and they showed up days apart. I then contacted you via customer support being worried and no one reached out.
