Sierra 118-99272 Johnson Evinrude CD2 USL Power Pack Ignition Conversion Kit

The Sierra 118-99272 is a CD2 USL (Ultra Speed Limit / No RPM Limit) Power Pack Conversion Kit designed for 2-cylinder Johnson and Evinrude outboard engines equipped with Under Flywheel Ignition (UFI). This kit converts the original ignition system to the modern capacitor discharge (CD2) ignition design, restoring reliable spark and eliminating RPM limiting found in factory power packs.

Key Features:

• No RPM Limit (USL) — removes the factory RPM restriction for unrestricted engine performance
• CD2 Ignition Technology — upgrades older ignition systems to a modern capacitor discharge design for improved spark energy and reliability
• Under Flywheel Ignition (UFI) Compatible — engineered for engines using the UFI ignition architecture
• Complete Conversion Kit — includes CD2 module (113-2285), trigger/sensor (133-3387), charging coil (173-1670), adapter plates, cables, and mounting hardware
• OEM Cross-Reference — replaces OMC/BRP part numbers 583663, 583667, and 584488

Important: This is a conversion kit and requires following the included conversion instructions. It is not a direct drop-in replacement for the original ignition components.

Also sold under CDI Electronics part number 113-4488 and OEM number 0584488. Sierra Marine and CDI Electronics have merged, making Sierra the consolidated source for these industry-standard ignition components.
