Product Details

The Sierra 118-99540 is a professional-grade spark tester designed specifically for 8-cylinder marine engines. This diagnostic tool allows you to quickly and safely test the ignition system on all eight cylinders simultaneously, making troubleshooting ignition problems fast and efficient.

Key Features:

  • Tests all 8 cylinders at once for comprehensive ignition system diagnostics
  • Safely grounds spark energy during testing to protect you and the engine
  • Visual spark indication helps identify weak or missing spark on individual cylinders
  • Durable construction designed for marine environment use
  • Compatible with most 8-cylinder inboard and sterndrive marine engines

This spark tester is an essential tool for diagnosing misfires, rough running, and hard starting conditions. Simply connect the tester between the ignition coils and spark plugs to observe spark quality and consistency across all cylinders. Ideal for marine mechanics and boat owners who perform their own maintenance.

Shipping cost was too high for the length of time it took to be delivered.

Very easy, would like to see a cheaper shipping option especially with buying insurance on top.
