Dexter Axle 054-140-22 Reverse Solenoid Assembly for Electric Over Hydraulic Brake Actuators

The Dexter Axle 054-140-22 Reverse Solenoid Assembly is a direct-replacement solenoid designed for use with electric over hydraulic (EOH) trailer brake actuator systems. When a tow vehicle is placed in reverse, this solenoid receives a signal from the vehicle's reverse lights and temporarily disengages the hydraulic brake system, allowing the trailer to back up smoothly without brake lockup.

Key Features:

• Direct OEM replacement for Dexter electric over hydraulic brake actuators
• Allows trailer to reverse freely by deactivating hydraulic brakes when tow vehicle is in reverse
• Engineered to Dexter's original specifications for reliable, consistent performance
• Designed for straightforward installation as a drop-in replacement
• Compatible with Dexter EOH actuator systems using this solenoid configuration

Maintaining a properly functioning reverse solenoid is essential for safe and convenient trailer operation. A failed solenoid can cause brake drag or lockup during reversing maneuvers. The Dexter 054-140-22 ensures your EOH braking system continues to perform as intended, maintaining both safety and ease of use.
