Specialty Recreation KHD1422S Heavy Duty RV Skylight Kit 14x22 Smoke

The Specialty Recreation KHD1422S is a heavy duty replacement skylight kit designed for RV roofs with a 14" x 22" opening. This kit includes both the outer dome and mounting components needed for a complete installation, making it an ideal solution for replacing cracked, yellowed, or damaged OEM skylights.

Constructed from thermoformed polycarbonate, the smoke-tinted dome is built to withstand the rigors of road travel and outdoor exposure. The smoke tint diffuses harsh sunlight, reduces interior glare, and helps lower cabin temperatures while still allowing natural light to filter through.

Key Features:

• Heavy Duty Construction – Thermoformed polycarbonate dome for superior impact resistance and long-term durability
• Smoke Tint – Reduces glare and solar heat gain while maintaining natural light transmission
• UV Resistant – Protects against UV degradation and discoloration over time
• 14" x 22" Opening Size – Designed to fit standard 14" x 22" RV roof cutouts
• Complete Kit – Includes dome and necessary mounting hardware/components for a full replacement
• Bubble Dome Profile – Raised dome design promotes water runoff and prevents pooling
• Easy Installation – Mounts to the exterior of the RV roof with standard sealant application

The KHD1422S is a trusted replacement option for travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes. Its heavy duty designation makes it particularly suited for applications requiring extra strength and longevity compared to standard single-pane skylights.
