Maretron CLMD12 MPower 12-Channel DC Load Controller Module with NMEA 2000

Designed for vessels of all sizes with smaller loads, the Maretron MPower CLMD12 is a compact 12-Channel DC Load Controller Module that replaces traditional mechanical circuit breakers with advanced digital power distribution. Two of the 12 breakers handle a maximum of 12 amps, six handle a maximum of 10 amps, and four handle a maximum of 5 amps with a total current capacity of 75 Amps. Circuits can be paralleled for higher amperage applications when needed.

• 12 solid-state Electronic Circuit Breakers (ECBs) provide fast switching, low-loss ON/OFF control with accurate current measurement and short circuit protection
• Each breaker can be set to trip at lower current levels using Maretron N2KAnalyzer V3 software
• Inputs for up to 7 hard-wired switches for breaker control or data inputs such as bilge alarms or hatch positions
• Reports current through each of the 12 breakers, allowing you to determine if loads are drawing too much or too little electrical current
• Dimmable breakers with PWM control for lighting applications
• IP67 rated, ignition protected, and opto-isolated from NMEA 2000 to eliminate ground loops
• Breakers can be locked against inadvertent actuation

The CLMD12 connects directly to an NMEA 2000 network, so you can turn breakers on and off from a Maretron DSM-Series display or any device running Maretron N2KView software, including smartphones, tablets, MFDs with OneHelm integration, and dedicated touchscreen computers. Since the CLMD12 supports standard NMEA 2000 messages for control, it can be controlled by any NMEA 2000 device supporting those messages.

The CLMD12 easily handles resistive DC loads like lights or inductive DC loads like pumps and motors, and can also be used to switch AC circuits using external relays. For manual control of loads, an optional MPower 12-Channel Bypass Module (CBMD12) can be installed in conjunction with the CLMD12.

Note: This is the CLMD12 module without connectors. Mating connectors must be purchased separately. Configuration requires Maretron USB100 or IPG100 plus a PC running N2KAnalyzer V3 software.
