Lectrotab PT980-40 Pro Troller Smart Tabs Trim Tab & Trolling Brake Kit for 12-16 ft Boats 40-80 HP

The Lectrotab PT980-40 Pro Troller Smart Tabs is an innovative all-in-one system that combines automatic trim tabs with trolling brakes, purpose-built for 12–16 foot boats powered by 40–80 HP outboard engines. This dual-function design eliminates the need for separate trim tab and trolling brake installations, saving space, time, and money.

Key Features:

• 2-in-1 Functionality: Combines Smart Tabs automatic trim tabs with integrated trolling brakes in a single bolt-on unit
• Trolling Brake Technology: Allows anglers to slow vessel speed for precise trolling control without adjusting the throttle excessively
• Automatic Self-Adjusting Tabs: Smart Tabs automatically react to boat speed and load, requiring no manual adjustment or wiring
• No Wiring Required: Fully hydraulic and mechanical operation — no electrical connections, switches, or control boxes needed
• Designed for 12–16 ft Boats: Optimized tab size and spring tension engineered specifically for smaller hulls with 40–80 HP outboards
• Stainless Steel Construction: Durable 316-grade stainless steel tabs resist saltwater corrosion for long-lasting marine performance
• Easy Bolt-On Installation: Mounts directly to the transom with included hardware — no special tools required
• Improved Boat Performance: Reduces bow rise, improves planing time, enhances fuel efficiency, and provides a smoother, more stable ride

The PT980-40 Pro Troller is ideal for bass boats, jon boats, aluminum fishing boats, and small fiberglass hulls where precise low-speed trolling control and automatic trim correction are equally important. It is a plug-and-play solution from Lectrotab, a trusted name in marine trim tab technology.
