The Dometic DFMDH30111 Essential Medium Furnace (MPN: 9610008166) is a 30,000 BTU LP propane forced-air furnace engineered for dependable, quiet heating in RV applications. Featuring next-generation ignition and airflow technology, this ducted furnace delivers consistent warmth with a smoother, quieter startup experience than traditional units. This model includes an exterior access door configuration and is assembled in the USA.

Key Features:

• 30,000 BTU LP gas output — powerful heating capacity suitable for medium-sized RVs, travel trailers, and motorhomes
• Hall Effect Sensor ignition — an automotive-grade, patent-pending sensor with no moving parts for more reliable, debris-resistant ignition
• Integrated Soft Start technology — reduces in-rush current by up to 80%, minimizing breaker trips and lowering startup noise
• Superior airflow — delivers 18–22% more airflow than leading competing models in ducted applications, eliminating cold spots throughout the living space
• One-piece tubular heat exchanger — seamless construction eliminates seams and welds found in clamshell designs, providing smoother airflow, quieter operation, and long-term durability
• Advanced air baffle system — evenly distributes heated air across all vents regardless of floor plan layout
• Flexible installation — compatible with both horizontal and vertical mounting orientations; supports side or bottom duct configurations
• Low-profile, compact design — dimensions of approximately 7-3/8 in. H × 16-1/2 in. W × 20 in. D for installations where space is limited
• 12V DC powered — compatible with standard RV electrical systems
