Marine Fasteners RP-1422 Lock Washer 3/8in 316 Stainless Steel 100-Pack

The Marine Fasteners RP-1422 is a 100-piece pack of 3/8-inch split lock washers designed for use in marine, boating, and general fastening applications. Split lock washers — also known as helical spring lock washers — are an essential hardware component that helps prevent nuts and bolts from loosening due to vibration, movement, and torque over time.

Key Features:

• Size: 3/8 inch inner diameter, compatible with 3/8" bolts and screws
• Type: Split (helical spring) lock washer — creates spring tension and bite against mating surfaces to resist loosening
• Pack Quantity: 100 pieces per package — ideal for stocking or large projects
• Marine-Grade Application: Suited for use aboard boats, docks, trailers, and other marine environments
• Function: Prevents fastener back-off caused by engine vibration, hull flex, and repeated mechanical stress

Split lock washers work by exerting a continuous spring force between the fastener and the mating surface. When a nut or bolt is tightened, the washer's sharp edges bite into both surfaces, creating resistance to rotation and dramatically reducing the risk of loosening. The Marine Fasteners RP-1422 100-piece pack is a convenient bulk option for marine technicians, boatbuilders, riggers, and DIY enthusiasts who need a reliable supply of this everyday essential fastener.
