Marine Fasteners RP-551 #10 x 1-1/4 in Phillips Pan Head Self-Tapping Screws 100-Pack

The Marine Fasteners RP-551 is a 100-piece pack of #10 x 1-1/4 inch Phillips pan head self-tapping screws designed for a wide range of marine, boat, and general fastening applications. These coarse-threaded sheet metal screws tap their own threads as they are driven, eliminating the need for pre-tapping or a nut.

Key Features:

• Size: #10 x 1-1/4 in. (thread diameter x length measured from under the head)
• Head Style: Pan head — flat on top with rounded sides, providing a low-profile installation that sits proud of the surface
• Drive Type: Phillips (cross-recess) for positive engagement with standard Phillips drivers and power tools
• Self-Tapping Design: Sharp cutting threads tap their own mating threads during installation — no pre-drilling required in soft materials
• Highly Versatile: Suitable for use in wood, fiberglass, thin sheet metal, soft plastics, and aluminum
• Quantity: 100 screws per pack — ideal for larger projects or keeping on hand for ongoing maintenance

These self-tapping sheet metal screws are a staple fastener for boat building, marine hardware installation, interior cabinetry, bracket mounting, and general onboard repair. The pan head profile distributes clamping load evenly and resists pull-through in softer substrates. Sold as a 100-piece pack under MPN RP-551.
