Marine Fasteners RP-590 #8 x 2in Phillips Oval Head Self-Tapping Screws 50-Pack

The Marine Fasteners RP-590 is a 50-piece pack of #8 x 2-inch Phillips oval head self-tapping screws engineered for demanding marine environments. These stainless steel fasteners are designed to tap their own threads on installation, eliminating the need to pre-drill and thread a separate hole in most applications.

The oval head profile delivers a low-profile, finished appearance — slightly domed above the surface for a cleaner look than a flat head, while still countersinking flush. The Phillips drive provides positive bit engagement and reliable torque transfer during installation.

Key Features:

• Size: #8 diameter x 2-inch length
• Drive Type: Phillips (cross-head)
• Head Style: Oval (countersunk with slightly raised dome)
• Thread Type: Self-tapping — cuts its own threads on installation

These versatile marine-grade self-tapping screws are ideal for boat trim, interior panels, hardware mounting, and general onboard fastening tasks where a neat, finished appearance is required. The 50-piece pack ensures you have an ample supply on hand for repairs, installations, and routine maintenance.
