Marine Fasteners RP-649 #12 x 3" Phillips Flat Head Self-Tapping Screws 50-Pack

The Marine Fasteners RP-649 is a bulk pack of 50 #12 x 3" Phillips flat head self-tapping screws engineered for demanding marine and boating applications. These stainless steel fasteners feature sharp-cutting threads that tap their own mating threads directly into the substrate, eliminating the need for pre-tapping and simplifying installation in the field.

Key Features:

• Size: #12 x 3" — ideal for medium to heavy-duty fastening tasks
• Drive Type: Phillips (crosshead) — compatible with standard Phillips #2 drivers and bits
• Head Style: Flat (countersunk) — sits flush with or below the surface for a clean, smooth finish
• Thread Type: Self-tapping — cuts threads into wood, fiberglass, sheet metal, and plastics without pre-drilling or tapping
• Quantity: 50 screws per pack — ideal for projects requiring multiple fasteners
• Application: Suitable for marine, boating, and general outdoor use in wood, fiberglass, and thin metal substrates

The flat countersunk head design allows these screws to sit flush with the mounting surface, leaving a clean, professional appearance with no protruding hardware. The Phillips drive provides positive engagement with standard power tools and hand drivers. Sold in a convenient 50-piece pack, the RP-649 is well-suited for boat building, repair, deck hardware installation, and general marine fabrication tasks.
