The Engineered Marine Products 93-04803 is an E-1F series zinc pencil anode complete with brass plug, designed to provide reliable sacrificial corrosion protection for marine engines. This pencil anode (also known as an engine anode or pencil zinc) threads directly into the engine block or heat exchanger, where it gradually sacrifices itself to protect critical metal engine components from the damaging effects of galvanic corrosion.
