Engineered Marine Products 93-04804 E-2C Zinc Pencil Anode with Brass Plug 1/2" NPT

The Engineered Marine Products 93-04804 is a zinc pencil anode with plug designed to provide sacrificial corrosion protection for marine engines and cooling system components. Pencil anodes are installed directly into engine blocks, heat exchangers, manifolds, and other raw-water-cooled components to protect metal surfaces from galvanic and electrolytic corrosion caused by saltwater, brackish water, and even freshwater exposure.

This anode features a threaded brass plug that allows for secure, watertight installation into standard threaded ports on marine engines and drive systems. The high-purity zinc alloy composition meets military specification (MIL-A-18001) standards for sacrificial anode performance, ensuring reliable, long-lasting protection for your vessel's critical components.

Key Features:

• Sacrificial zinc alloy construction for maximum galvanic corrosion protection
• Pencil-style form factor for installation in engine blocks, heat exchangers, and manifolds
• Integrated threaded brass plug for secure, leak-free installation
• High-purity zinc meets military spec MIL-A-18001 standards
• Suitable for use in salt, brackish, and freshwater environments
• Direct replacement for OEM pencil anodes on compatible marine engines and drives

Regular inspection and replacement of pencil anodes is a critical part of marine engine maintenance. When an anode is consumed to approximately 50% of its original size, it should be replaced to maintain continuous corrosion protection. The EMP 93-04804 pencil anode is a reliable, cost-effective solution to extend the service life of your engine's raw-water-cooled components.
