Wichard 6654W Diamond Pad Eye Square 60mm (2-23/64") M5 Stainless Steel

The Wichard 6654W Diamond Pad Eye is a fixed, square-base stainless steel pad eye designed for demanding marine and rigging applications. Engineered by Wichard — a French manufacturer with over a century of hardware expertise — this drop-forged pad eye delivers an exceptional balance of mechanical strength and corrosion resistance in a compact, optimized footprint.

The diamond-shaped ring profile maximizes load-bearing efficiency while the square mounting base provides a stable, flush mounting surface. Designed for use with an M5 fastener, it installs cleanly on decks, hulls, cabin soles, and other surfaces where a low-profile attachment point is required. The Working Load Limit (WLL) is derived as Breaking Load divided by 5, ensuring a conservative and reliable safety margin for both marine and industrial rigging use.

Key Features:

• Square base mounting profile for flush, stable installation
• Diamond pad eye ring geometry optimized for load distribution
• 60mm (2-23/64") overall length — compact and low-profile
• M5 screw compatible mounting holes
• Drop-forged stainless steel construction for superior strength and corrosion resistance
• Optimized mechanical resistance-to-corrosion resistance ratio
• WLL = Breaking Load / 5 safety factor
• Suitable for marine, sailing, deck hardware, and light rigging applications

The Wichard 6654W is sold individually and is part of Wichard's comprehensive range of fixed pad eyes, available in multiple sizes and configurations to suit any application.
