Wichard 11245W HR Bow Shackle 10mm Pin High-Resistance Stainless Steel

The Wichard 11245W is a High-Resistance (HR) Bow Shackle featuring a 10mm pin diameter, precision forged from 17-4 PH (precipitation-hardened) stainless steel — one of the strongest and most corrosion-resistant alloys available in marine hardware. Designed for demanding sailing and rigging applications, this shackle delivers exceptional strength-to-weight performance in a compact form factor.

Key Features:

• Forged bow shackle in HR stainless steel grade (17-4 PH) for superior strength and durability
• Outstanding working and breaking load ratings compared to standard stainless shackles
• HR grade construction can provide up to 60% greater resistance than conventional stainless steel shackles of the same size
• 10mm pin diameter for a secure, reliable connection
• Bow (omega) shape distributes load evenly, ideal for multi-directional loading scenarios
• Excellent corrosion resistance — suitable for offshore and saltwater marine environments
• Manufactured by Wichard, a trusted French brand with decades of expertise in high-performance marine hardware

Wichard HR shackles are a preferred choice among competitive sailors, riggers, and marine professionals who require maximum reliability under high-load conditions. The 17-4 PH stainless steel alloy undergoes a hardening process that dramatically increases tensile strength without sacrificing the corrosion resistance essential for marine use.
