Product Details

The Wichard 1248W is a non self-locking bow shackle designed for demanding marine and rigging applications. Forged from Grade 316L stainless steel, this 20mm (25/32") diameter shackle delivers superior corrosion resistance and long-lasting performance in harsh saltwater environments.

Key Features:

  • Forged 316L Stainless Steel — Premium marine-grade alloy provides exceptional strength and resistance to corrosion and pitting
  • Non Self-Locking Design — Pin locks securely into one of the indentations, preventing accidental loosening during use
  • Bow Shackle Profile — Wider bow shape distributes load evenly, ideal for multi-directional loading scenarios
  • 20mm (25/32") Pin Diameter — Robust sizing suitable for heavy-duty marine rigging, anchoring, and lifting tasks
  • Wichard Quality — Manufactured to exacting marine industry standards by a trusted French marine hardware brand

The Wichard 1248W bow shackle is a reliable choice for sailors, riggers, and marine professionals who require a strong, corrosion-resistant shackle without a self-locking mechanism. Its forged construction and precision-machined pin ensure consistent performance and easy operation on deck or offshore.

I got the wrong part and the phone number doesn't work

Easy transaction and fast free shipping. Can't ask for more.

The only issue was the shipping straps on both shocks were broken on one end only! Made it more difficult to install! But for the price I can't complain much! Thanks
