Wichard 1346W Self-Locking Allen Head Pin Bow Shackle 12mm 15/32"

The Wichard 1346W is a 12mm (15/32") self-locking bow shackle featuring an Allen head pin, forged from Grade 316L stainless steel for exceptional corrosion resistance in marine and offshore environments. Wichard is a trusted French manufacturer renowned for precision-engineered deck hardware used by sailors and riggers worldwide.

Key Features:

• Self-Locking Allen Head Pin – The pin locks securely into one of the shackle body's grooves, preventing accidental release under load or vibration
• Grade 316L Stainless Steel Construction – Forged for superior strength and resistance to saltwater corrosion
• Bow (Omega) Shape – Wider bow profile distributes load evenly and accommodates multiple attachment points
• 12mm Pin Diameter (15/32") – Provides high working load capacity suitable for demanding sailing and rigging applications
• Allen Key Operation – Pin is tightened and released with a standard Allen/hex key, offering secure, tool-assisted locking without a screw pin that can loosen over time
• Twisted Shackle Design – Allows connected lines, blocks, or fittings to align naturally, reducing wear and improving load distribution

Ideal for use on sailboat standing and running rigging, blocks, turning blocks, anchor systems, and other marine hardware applications where a secure, vibration-resistant connection is required. The self-locking mechanism meets the demands of offshore sailing and racing where dependability is critical.
